Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a form of alternative and traditional Chinese medicine in which fine needles are inserted into the skin at certain points on the body.
The principle aim of acupuncture is to restore the balance between the physical, emotional and spiritual aspect of the individual.
According to traditional Chinese philosophy our health is dependant on the bodys free flow of vital energy known as Qi.
When this flow becomes blocked illness can result.
Insertion of fine needles are inserted at acupuncture points on the body where energy is travelling to and from organs along lines called meridians.
When energy flows more efficiently circulation is improved helping stimulate the bodys own healing response.
